On thursday Twitter started rolling out a feature. this feature allows micro bloggers share a public tweet through direct messages.
Now Twitter users will be able to with their Twitter followers using direct messages. In android and ios device a simple long press on a tweet in the official twitter app will show the option to 'Share via Direct Message'. While for the web interface and TweetDeck (for Windows and Chrome) users a simple tap on the '...More' icon on the Twitter post would do the trick.
Twitter's Product Manager, Sachin Agarwal said, The receiver of the direct message would get a push notification "and the Tweet will display directly in the conversation," on company blog post.
